Shrink Central
Friday, January 29, 2010
I’m a clinical psychologist in Los Angeles and now a blogger.
I work as director of Wilshire Valley Therapy Centers in Los Angeles and Encino. I also host the weekly talk show “The Resurrection of Love” on BlogTalk Radio. My latest self-help book, “That’s Not Love! This Is” is now available on Amazon.com.
I’m excited about expanding into the world of blogging — there are so many new, important and innovative things going on in the world of psychology today.
One goal of the “Shrink Central” blog is to help you relate to the practice of mental health as a necessary part of our wellness. This can be critical to our day-to-day approach to life as well as our long-term views of ourselves and the world around us.

This site is about people, how the mind works, why we do what we do, and how we can use this knowledge to get by a little better in life. There are three main sections of the site:
- The Main Psychology Blog – Understand your mind and other people
- The Positive Psychology Blog – What does science have to say about living a good life?
- The Psychology Study Guide – Get better grades on your psychology course
